Many times over summer when the grass is scarce, the wallaby's come closer into town for the greener grass. Most times they are able to find their way out, back to the scrub, but some times they get "stuck" in town. This is were the Warrnambool Rescue group is needed. We use a very large net and with the help of vet to sedate, we can safely transport the wallaby out of town.
